Experience with Intex

Air beds are extremely handy to have around the house. If you are having company but don’t have a place for them to sleep, all you have to do is pull out the air bed and blow it up. I have used air mattresses for many reasons. I went to a party once and they didn’t have an extra place to sleep, Luckily, my husband and I planned ahead of time and took the seats out of the back of our minivan. We were able to blow our air bed up and sleep in the back of the van instead of driving all the way home.

Is It Needed?

Honestly, I think that everyone should have an air bed laying around their house. Not only are they handy, but they are comfortable and can be used to replace your traditional bed if needed. People seem to think that air mattresses are a waste of money and space, but if you are limited on space and money, an Intex air mattress is the perfect solution. If you have a small living area and there is no room for a traditional bed, an air mattress will work just fine.

They’re Cleaner

Intex air beds are also much cleaner than traditional mattresses. So if you are looking at whether you should buy a real mattress or an air mattress, think about how much dirt and dander is gathered by your traditional mattress over the course of a few years.

Intex air mattresses are sealed to prevent anything from getting inside and air from escaping. If it gets dirty, all you have to do is brush it off. If something spills on it, you can just wipe it up and be on your way. With a traditional mattress, you have to take the time to treat the spill, let it dry, look for residue, etc. Inflatable beds are just much easier to maintain.

Easier to Transport

If you move from place to place often, it can be aggravating having to move a heavy, bulky, traditional mattress over and over again. If you use a good quality air mattress as your main bed, all you have to do is let the air out of it, stick it in its carrying case or bag and you can be on your way.

The same goes for if you use your bed in multiple rooms. You don’t even have to deflate the air mattress, as long as it will fit through the door way. If you are having company and they want to sleep in the living room instead of the guest room, no problem. Grab your Intex air mattress and set it up where they want it.

Intex Air Mattress Benefits

Intex air beds come in all kinds of different sizes with wonderful features to each one of them. First and foremost, they are comfortable. Some say that sleeping on an air mattress is like sleeping on air, which technically you are.

Air mattresses allow you to add as much or as little air as you need for optimal comfort. Most of them follow the natural curve of your body to cut down on pain and aches when you wake up. It will also help to allow proper spine alignment and pressure relief to those aching pressure areas and joints.

Durability

If you take good care of your air mattress, it can last you as long as a traditional mattress can. Although the material that they are made from seem thin, they are actually quite durable. Intex air mattresses can also withstand more weight than the typical traditional mattress.

As long as you aren’t using them as trampolines, they should hold up for as many years as a traditional mattress would. I used my Intex air mattress for many years. The only reason I don’t have it anymore is because my children took a screwdriver to it.

Price

Unlike traditional mattresses, air mattresses aren’t going to cost you thousands of dollars for a high quality one. If at any time you need to buy one, there is a good chance that you will be able to buy one without having to break your bank.

You can pull up to any store that sell them and grab one in almost any size you need. Intex air mattresses are an affordable solution to your bedding needs. The maximum that you would spend on one of these is a few hundred dollars for a large one that will fit multiple people.

The Verdict

After much deliberation, I have to say that the Intex Classic Downy Queen Airbed is the winner. Every product is going to have its flaws, and for this one, it is the hand pump. The reason I like this product so much is because it can be used virtually anywhere, even without electricity. If you bring any of the other mattresses with you and there is no power, all you have is a deflated pile of garbage. This air mattress is practical, comfortable, affordable and the best choice for your bedding needs.
